This song is very symbolic and very well represents the theme I'm going for representing our 3rd year as a guild. For those who never played Chrono Trigger, this is the final closing credits song which is played while the main characters of the game take a nostalgic trip through time as they go check in on all those people's lives they've touched over the course of the game. It's probably one of the most fitting ending songs and represents the emotion of looking back and remembering all the good times and bad times we've had, while looking forward to all the good things to come. It makes you realize that while these memories are far away, they are close enough if you just sit back and remember where we came from.
The video itself will start off we were in WAR and while at first a lot of the guild was together. Our guild screenshot when we made the guild, our first guild instance runs in video form, and after a while it will start showing less and less of the faces we commonly know as our guild today. It became progressively sad for me to stay in Warhammer because while I enjoyed the game and loved the lore of the world, it got more and more depressing for me (and Gnar) to not be with our good friends. We still accomplished a lot, the few of us still running together, but we had a lot of hard times and eventually I got that "Scroll of Resurrection" from Mogani...
As the song transitions from the quiet melodic, almost sad parts of the song to the joyful happy and triumphant parts, it will transition to moving past the sad times and into happy times again as the guild comes together once again in WoW and all of the accomplishments that we achieved in 2009. While this technically all happened after our 3 year anniversary, I thought it was important to end the video on a high note. Also, while I could include the accomplishments in the last 2 weeks, I'm going to go ahead and save those and everything else we plan on accomplishing for our 4 year anniversary video, which will be coming only 6 months from now.
